2010 "ALUMNI OF THE YEAR"
FROM THE LEADERSHIP PADUCAH FOUNDATION,

Every year the Leadership Paducah Foundation Board of Directors selects an Outstanding Leadership Alumnus Award to recognize the civic contributions of graduates who have sought out opportunities to improve the Paducah/McCracken County community through leadership, innovation, commitment and dedication. Since its inception, the program has graduated over 600 participants!

This year's Alumnus is a graduate of Class 23 of the Leadership Paducah program. She is a strong advocate for international exchange student programs that help promote cultural understanding and has hosted five international students of her own here in Paducah. She serves as the Paducah Advisory Council Chair for the Bellewood Presbyterian Homes for Children. She also serves as board member for the Hotel Metropolitan; she is the Interracial Women's Group Program Chair, serves as a volunteer for the Market House Theater as well as a whole host of other organizations in and throughout the Paducah community. Finally, as a graduate of the LP Class #23, she received the Community Service Award for her outstanding volunteer service throughout the class and today we celebrate not only her accomplishments in the class but outside of the class as well.
